Amendments to Rules for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers made by IRclass
Indian Register of Shipping (IRclass) has amended July 2021 edition of the ‘Rules for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers’. Changes were made to Volume 1, Chapter 1 by a change of date for application of Clause 18.1.13bis.
Clause 18.1.13bis regarding Force Majeure will continue to be applied in lieu of Clause 18.1.13 as an interim measure due to the Covid-19 pandemic till 30th June 2022.
The amendments came into force with immediate effect.
