Antigua and Barbuda publishes the Handbook of Administrative Procedures for Masters and Senior Officers
The Antigua and Barbuda Maritime Administration has published the Handbook of Administrative Procedures for Masters and Senior Officers.
This Handbook has been issued on February 1st, 2023.
It is intended for all masters and senior officers of Antigua and Barbuda
flagged ships.
The purpose of this handbook is to provide information on the administrative procedures required to operate a ship flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda, and information about Antigua and Barbuda Merchant Shipping Regulations.
The practices and procedures outlined in this document may differ from those on ships flying other flags, so this manual attempts to provide simple guidance in key areas.
The purpose of this handbook is also to fulfill the requirements of STCW Regulation I/10 for officers at the management level so that they get adequate knowledge of the maritime legislation of the administration.
