The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry of the Australian Government has issued revised Departmental Charging Guidelines – Biosecurity and Export Regulatory Functions.
The new version (5.0) of the guidelines was released in March 2023 and it replaced previous versions to reflect the 16 January 2023 increase to Sea FID Charge described in the Biosecurity Cost Recovery Implementation Statement.
This document amends export prices to reflect 2022-23 legislated prices, published in the Export Control (Fees and Payments) Rules 2021 and the Export Cost Recovery Implementation Statements that commenced on 1 July 2022.
Also, an additional scenario is added to section 4.8, Post entry quarantine (PEQ) to reflect operational practice and policy change.
