Guidelines on Preventive Measures against Parametric Rolling published by ClassNK

The Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) has published the Guidelines on Preventive Measures against Parametric Rolling.

This document was published on 1 April 2023.

These guidelines pertain to ships registered with ClassNK that implement preventive measures against parametric rolling and apply for the class notation through classification authorities.

If a ship fails to adequately maintain the required preventive measures as outlined in these guidelines, ClassNK will remove the corresponding class notation.

It is important to note that adherence to these guidelines is not obligatory and does not affect the ship's class registration status.
