Hong Kong issues five notices for site investigations and marine works

Hong Kong has issued five Marine Department notices informing mariners of site investigation and marine works.

Marine Works inside Aberdeen South Typhoon Shelter involving removal of mooring components will be carried out for a period of approximately three months.

Marine Site Investigation off Ma Liu Shui will last approximately five months, involving drilling of boreholes within the area bounded by straight lines.

Reconstruction Works for Piers at Ma Wan Chung and Yi O will be carried out for a period of approximately 30 months.

Marine Works at Shing Mun River, Sha Tin involving installation of floating photovoltaic system will last approximately seven months.

These notices were published on October 6th 2022.

Marine Site Investigation at Kau Yi Chau Dangerous Goods Anchorage involving sampling of subsea soil, drilling of vibrocores, boreholes and cone penetration tests take immediate effect and will be carried out for a period of approximately four months.
