The International Maritime Organization has updated its List of competent persons maintained by the Secretary-General pursuant to section A-I/7 of the Seafarers' Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Code.
This circular has been published on November 15th, 2022.
The List has been further updated based on the information provided by STCW Parties, including withdrawals and inclusions of competent persons nominated in accordance with the form set out in Circular Letter No. 1882, and approved by the Maritime Safety Committee at its 106th session (November 2nd to 11th, 2022).

Parties to the 1978 STCW Convention, which have nominated competent persons, are further requested to inform the Secretary-General, without delay, of any changes to their contact details, including when experts on the List are no longer available to serve as competent persons.
