Korean Register amends the 2022 Classification Technical Rules

Korean Register on 24 May 2023 published a notice informing that the 2022 Classification Technical Rules have been amended to reflect the Requests for Establishment/Revision of Classification Technical Rules as below.

Amendments:

• Annex 1-1 New Notation added.
• Annex 7-12 Liquefaction of Ore Bulk Cargo:

New requirements for cargoes that can be liquefied when the moisture content contained in the cargo exceeds a certain value have been established.

These amendments will be applicable from 30 May 2023 (the date on which the application for the survey is submitted).

Also, these amendments will be included in the 2023 edition for Rule and Guidance.
