Panama issues circular on the regulations of Maritime Labour Inspection

The Panama Maritime Authority has issued a merchant marine circular about the regulations of Maritime Labour Inspection and other provisions regarding life, work, accommodation, certification, and endowment conditions of seafarers on board ships of the Panamanian flag.

This circular was issued on April 1st, 2023.

The aim of this document is to provide users of the Panamanian Registry with information on the regulations of maritime labor inspections and other provisions related to the life, work, accommodation, nutrition, certificate, and endowment conditions of seafarers working on Panamanian ships.

This merchant marine circular applies to all ships registered under the Panamanian flag, intended for internal and international navigation in the territorial waters of Panama.
