PRS: Guidelines for the Safe Carriage of Alternative Fueled Vehicles on Ro-Ro Ships and on Board Charging of Electric Vehicles
Polish Register of Shipping has issued the Guidelines for the Safe Carriage of Alternative Fueled Vehicles (AFVS) on Ro-Ro Ships and on Board Charging of Electric Vehicles.
This document has been published on October 17th, 2022.
These Guidelines contain design recommendations as well as operational guidelines and procedures intended for owners/ operators and ship's personnel.
The purpose of this Publication is to provide recommendations for the safe carriage of AFV fuelled vehicles on ro-ro ships (passenger, cargo, including car carriers), as well as for charging electric vehicles on board ships.
These Guidelines apply to new and existing ro-ro ships for the carriage of all types of vehicles referred to as AFV.
