Rules for Technical Supervision during Construction of Ships and Manufacture of Materials and Products for Ships amended by RMRS

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) has amended Part III: Technical Supervision During Manufacture of Materials of  'Rules for Technical Supervision during Construction of Ships and Manufacture of Materials and Products for Ships. The Circular Letter dated 11.01.2022 amends three, and adds two new paragraphs to The Rules.

Amended Rules

Amended paragraph 2.4.1.1 specifies requirements for accompanying documents at supply of materials, while amended paragraph 6.6.3.4.1 applies only to English version of The Rules and aligns the text with the Russian version.

New paragraphs 2.4.1.2.3 and 2.4.1.5 contain requirements for accompanying documents at supply of materials, and lastly, the title of the Table 6.6.3.3 has been specified.

The provisions of the Circular Letter need to be applied when performing technical supervision during manufacture of materials and certification of welding procedures contracted for construction or conversion on or after 01.03.2022, which is the entry into force date for The Letter.
