Singapore extends the working period of marine construction works

Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore has issued three separate Port Marine Notices, two of which extend the working period of existing marine works, while Notice No. 35 notifies of new cable laying works off Changi East.

Supply and Delivery of Sand at Tuas View Extension

Notice No. 033 of 2022 is a revision of Port Marine Notice No. 077 of 2021, extending the working period of the latter notice to 21 November 2022. Working hours will be between 07:oo to 19:00 daily, including Sundays and Public Holidays. When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to keep well clear, not to enter the working area and to maintain a proper lookout.

Hydrographic Survey off Pulau Sudong

Notice No. 034 of 2022 is a revision of Port Marine Notice No. 075 of 2021, extending the working period of the latter notice to 25 November 2022. Working hours will be between 07:oo to 19:00 on Saturdays and Sundays only. Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working areas.

Cable Laying Work off Changi East

With effect from 26 May 2022 to 25 Nov 2022, cable laying works will be carried out. Working hours will be from 07:00 to 18:00 daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.

The cable laying work will be carried out by a cable laying barge and supported by tug boats. Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area, but vessels are warned to proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution.
