Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has issued several notices warning vessels of marine works in progress.
In Southern Tuas Basin dredging works will be carried out by dredger and crane barges, supported by hopper barges and work boats. The works commenced on 08 August and will last for the rest of the month. Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft to keep clear of the area.
Mariners operating in the vicinity of East Jurong Fairway are warned to keep well clear and not to enter the area from 02 August 2022 to 30 October 2022. Working hours will be from 08h to 19h, excluding Sundays and Public Holidays, and the repair works will be carried out by crane barges supported by work barges and tug boats.
