St. Vincent and the Grenadines issues circulars on medical care onboard ship

The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Maritime Administration has issued two circulars regarding medical care onboard ship.

Medical Care On-board Ship

This circular is addressed to recognized organizations, flag state surveyors, ship owners, ships' operators, and managers, masters, and seafarers.

This circular has been published on December 12th, 2022, and is applicable to all ships which are subject to MLC 2006 certification. It became effective on December 12th, 2022.

Medicine Chest on Board

This circular is addressed to ship owners, ships' operators and managers, masters, and seafarers, recognized organizations, and flag state surveyors.

This circular has been published on December 12th, 2022, and entered into force on the same date.

It is applicable to all vessels as described below, without a doctor on board.
