The latest update adds Eswatini (Swaziland) to the list. Ports, ship owners, managers, operators, agents, and classification societies in the UAE must ensure that vessels from these flag states are properly classified. The updated list includes:
- Albania
- Belize
- North Korea
- Sao Tome and Principe
- Tonga
- Republic of Congo
- Equatorial Guinea
- Tanzania
- Cameroon
- Eswatini (Swaziland)
Non-compliant vessels are not to be serviced to avoid legal consequences.
