Panama Maritime Authority (AMP) has notified IMO Member States of a massive campaign against COVID-19, offering vaccination to all seafarers, regardless of their nationality, arriving in Panamanian ports in Colon and Panama, as well as those awaiting transit via the Panama Canal.
AMP points out that all interested seafarers that the Republic of Panama has destinated than 300,000.00 vaccines from the Oxford-AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech for firsts, seconds and boosters' doses at no cost, and that all seafarers will receive the vaccination from a medical professional and the corresponding vaccination card.
