ABS issues Guide for Vibration of Machinery Equipment And Related Structures

The American Bureau of Shipping has issued the Guide for Vibration of Machinery Equipment And Related Structures.

This document has been published on November 1st, 2022, and entered into force on the same date.

This Guide provides vibration measurement requirements and acceptance criteria for vibration levels of local structures, machinery, and equipment for a vessel to obtain the optional classification notation VIBM.
