Classification Society CCS has amended Part 2 and Part 3 of its Rules for Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk. CCS also issued a corresponding consolidated version of the Rules.
Part 2 Classification Survey and Additional Requirement for Hull Structure was extensively amended, while Part 3, which contains The International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk (IGC Code) incorporates amendments adopted by the Maritime Safety Committee by Resolutions MSC.441(99) and MSC.476(102).
The Rules become effective from 01 July 2022.
