The European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) has informed that an interactive reporting module where statistics on the number of seafarers holding EU certificates and endorsements can be tailored according to user needs is now available and accessible through EMSA’s STCW-IS webpage.
The new module provides access in a customised way to the data that EMSA has been publishing since 2016 in the form of the Annual Review Report on Seafarer Statistics in the EU.
Its structure and content are the same of those of the published reports, allowing for easy online retrieval of a snapshot of the European maritime labour market.
In addition, figures can be viewed by year or group of years and can be further explored by applying filters.
The module is publicly available to all those interested at the following link: https://portal.emsa.europa.eu/web/stcw/seafarers-stats
