The European Commission has amended Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1202 of 12 July 2019 on the harmonised standards for equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, drafted in support of Directive 2014/34/EU.
The new Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/784 amends harmonised standards for nozzle, test requirements and dimensions used for the automotive LPG filling system and for explosion suppression systems by the addition of entries for LPG equipment and explosion suppression to Annex I and II to Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1202.
This Decision entered into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union which was 19 May 2022.
