Guidelines for Ships Using Ammonia Fuel issued by CCS

China Classification Society (CCS) has issued Guidelines for Ships Using Ammonia Fuel.

This document was published on November 30th, 2022, and came into effect on July 1st, 2022.

The goal of the Guidelines is to provide a standard for the arrangement, installation, control, and monitoring of the machinery, equipment, and systems of ammonia-fueled ships and to minimize the risk to the ship, persons, and the environment.
