India issues new DGS order for self-propelled and non-self-propelled vessels

Indian Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has issued a new order for certification of offshore vessels, accommodation barges, etc. while operating in Indian Exclusive Economic Zone.

The requirements detailed in the order are for self-propelled vessels, meaning crew boats and mobile offshore drilling units, and non-self-propelled accommodation vessels.

There is also a list with general requirements for both self-propelled and non-self-propelled vessels.

This DGS order was published on October 20th, 2022.
