Korean Register amended the Guidance for Autonomous Ships

Korean Register (KR) on 20 December 2023 informed about the amendment to the KR Technical Rules (Guidance for Autonomous Ships).

These amendments have been made to reflect IACS Resolutions and will become effective on 1 January 2024.

Amendments:

• Amended the application requirements for Class notation
• Newly added for Class survey

Additionally, these amendments will be included in the 2024 edition of KR Technical Rules which will be published in the first half of 2024.
