Liberia issues new Marine Advisory Note on COVID-19

Liberia Maritime Authority has issued a new Marine Advisory Note which supersedes Marine Advisory 08/2022. The document lists requirements for crew change for cargo ships, application for vaccination and granting of shore leave for vessels arriving in the Port of Singapore during COVID-19.

Crew Change Requirements

The document introduced several changes, including new requirements for crew changes. Effective 01 April 2022, fully vaccinated sign on and off crew can enter Singapore under the Vaccinated Travel Framework as Short-Term Visitor.

On the other hand, non-vaccinated sign-on crew and sign-off crew may only stay at the designated holding facilities in Singapore for up to 24 hours.

Other restrictions on shore leave for fully vaccinated crew have also been eased.
