The Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management on 4 August 2023 published the List of Recognised Organisations and Recognised Security Organisations.
In accordance with the provisions outlined in Article 1 (Recognised Organisation) and Article 4 (Recognised Security Organisation) of the Decree concerning the Recognition of Organisations for Ships, along with Article 2 – 5a of the Regulation pertaining to the Recognition of Organisations for Ships, the subsequent entities hold the status of Recognised Organisations and Recognised Security Organisations for vessels registered under the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of the Netherlands:
American Bureau of Shipping Europe Ltd. (ABS) at Rotterdam
Bureau Veritas (BV) at Rotterdam
DNV at Barendrecht
Indian Register of Shipping Netherlands B.V. (IRS) at Leiden
Lloyd's Register Group (LR) at Rotterdam
Nippon Kaiji Kyokai B.V. (ClassNK) at Barendrecht
Registro Italiano Navale Services (RINA) at Rotterdam
Register Holland Classebureau B.V. (RHC) at Harlingen (RO with national recognition only. RHC can only perform surveys that are outside the scope of Conventions and/or European legislation)
