Panama's Maritime Administration has introduced a new stamp in the Seaman's Book, affirming adherence to international maritime standards.
The stamp, issued through the Seafarers Automated Application System, confirms compliance with the ILO Convention 108 and 1978 STCW Convention, amended.
It signifies Panama's commitment to authenticity and reliability of seafarers' identity documents.
Authorized entities will affix the stamp at no cost in the "Observations" section.
