The Panama Maritime Authority has issued a merchant marine circular about the Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR).
The document was published on 1 June 2023.
This circular aims to establish the guidelines for issuing the Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR). It outlines the policies of the Administration concerning the information to be included in the CSR.
The circular includes the following topics:
- Online application process for the CSR
- Application forms (three forms attached)
- Content requirements for the CSR
- Prerequisites for CSR issuance
- CSR issuance during vessel lay-up
- Inclusion of bareboat charter information in the CSR
- Applicable fee
This Merchant Marine Circular supersedes and compiles the previous circulars MMC-325 and MMC-377.
