The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has issued a navigation circular about the rebate requests.
The Suez Canal Authority is advising its customers, which includes those who own, operate, and charter vessels passing through the Suez Canal, along with their shipping representatives, to be aware of the recent changes.
These changes pertain to the circulars issued by the Suez Canal Authority, which offer reduced rates for vessels transiting the canal on specific routes.
Starting from July 1, 2023, only rebate applications made through the electronic "Fixed Rebates Circulars" (E-Circulars) system are acknowledged.
Any rebate requests submitted in paper format via fax, mail (courier services), or in person will not be accepted or taken into consideration.
This circular was issued on 22 June 2023.
