The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has issued a circular referring to the dry bulk vessels operating between Americas' eastern ports (before Brazilian ports) and Asian ports.
The Suez Canal Authority has extended the validity of Circular No. 3/2018 and its subsequent updates, issued on 18 December 2022.
This circular pertains to the discounts offered to laden and ballast dry bulk vessels that operate between ports in the Eastern Americas up to Brazilian ports, and Asian ports.
The extension means that these discounts will continue to be in effect until 31 December 2023, which is also the last date a vessel can depart from its origin port to be eligible for these discounts.
This circular was issued on 21 June 2023.
