The parties to this agreement are DanCompliance, owner of Marineregulations.news, and a user of Marineregulations.news, referred to in this agreement as “User”.
DanCompliance provides a News portal with a search engine and related tools for finding articles, legislation, rules, standards, and other documents at the domain, Marineregulations.news.
The Service is a subscription product. A User, or the organization through which a user is provided access to the Service, must pay the subscription fee that has been agreed to with DanCompliance.
License to Use
A User may use the Service but may not re-sell it to third parties without obtaining prior permission from DanCompliance.
The username and password are for personal use only, and a User must not distribute login credentials to third parties.
DanCompliance does not own the copyright of the documents made available by the Service. A User must consult with the issuer of the documents to determine, how the user is allowed to use them (e.g. copy, distribute, share).
Limitation of Liability
DanCompliance's liability shall be limited to the Subscription Fees paid by a User in the 12 months preceding providing notice of a User’s claim to DanCompliance.
The User agrees to indemnify DanCompliance against claims brought by any person, the User has provided access to the Service to (i.e. distributed a username and password).
The documents made available by the Service are owned and controlled by third parties. DanCompliance can therefore not guarantee future availability. If DanCompliance changes the contents for which a User has paid access, the User must be offered suitable compensation or pro-rata refund in case the User rejects the compensation and cancel the subscription.
The Service is a complex software system that may have bugs and is not a substitute for obtaining legal advice. The Service is provided to a User as-is, without any warranty. Although all possible efforts have been made to ensure the correctness and completeness of the information contained in this service, DanCompliance, is not responsible for any errors or omissions made herein, nor held liable for any actions by any party as a result of information retrieved from this Service.
Without limiting the foregoing, DanCompliance does not warrant that a User’s access to the Service will be uninterrupted, that the search results in a User receives will be comprehensive or that any excerpts will be accurate. A User should always consult the official source of the documents and not solely rely on the Service to determine legal rights or obligations.
Assignment of Rights and Duties
A User may not without written consent from DanCompliance, assign its rights or duties under this Agreement to any third party.
DanCompliance shall be permitted to disclose that a User is a client and use the logo of the user’s company on its website.
Law and Venue
Any disagreement or dispute related to this Agreement is to be settled by a Danish court in accordance with the general Danish rules of law.
Marineregulations.news is the first news site that exclusively covers maritime regulatory news from the most relevant maritime regulatory bodies and rule makers.
