The Panama Canal Authority announced the launch of the "Maritime Information Dashboards" in response to the recommendations from their clients.
These dashboards have been developed to enhance the Panama Canal Authority service level and improve data accessibility, thereby facilitating the decision-making process.
Here are the key features of the dashboards:
- Transit Planning: This section provides information on transit booked slots and transit planning for the next 9 days through the Panama Canal. It includes details such as the date, direction, and vessel size category.
- Arrivals by Direction: Here, you can find a comprehensive list of vessel visits for the upcoming 9 days. The information is categorized by date, direction, and vessel size category.
- Historical Average Waiting Time for Panama Canal Transits – Non-Booked: This dashboard presents the historical waiting time for non-booked transits, categorized by market segment and direction.
