Marine Department Malaysia has issued several notices warning all participants in maritime traffic about marine works, changes in signaling and different weather conditions.
Mariners are advised that pipelines inspection for 24” Tapis P-TCOT MOL will be carried out by Alam Maritim Sdn. Bhd, from December 7th to 21st, 2022. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when in the vicinity and keep clear of the working area.
Also, mariners are advised that the Rico Wreck Light Buoy has been restored to normal and are advised to navigate with caution when in the vicinity.
Mariners are advised that PG 1-3 & PG 1-1 light buoy have been permanent withdrawn and also are advised to navigate with caution when in the vicinity.
All participants in maritime traffic are advised that PG 1-2 light buoy has been reposition in Pengerang, Johor. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when in the vicinity.
Moreover, mariners are advised that PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd will carry out plug and abandonment activities at Tg Baram until December 17th, 2022. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when in vicinity.
Northeast monsoon season
The Northast Monsoon Season began on November 7th, 2022 and ends in March 2023.
