The Panama Canal Authority on 19 December 2023 issued an advisory informing about the implementation of new tolls for passenger ships.
On 1 January 2024, the second phase of the three-year toll adjustment, as recommended by the Panama Canal Authority Board of Directors and approved by the Cabinet Council of the Republic of Panama on July 12, 2022, will take effect.
Notably, new toll rates for the passenger vessels segment will be implemented on 1 January 2024, following a two-year advanced notice to the industry.
The approved adjustments to tolls can be found on the Panama Canal website at www.pancanal.com under the section "Approved Tolls 2024."
