China Classification Society has amended all three parts of The Rules for Materials and Welding.
The changes include the change to material thickness intended for use in the construction of cargo tanks and fuel tanks for liquefied gases and the hull structures adjacent to these tanks, changed temperature for Charpy V-notch impact tests and requirements for the breaking test.
Multiple tables and formulas have also been either changed or added and they can be found in the CCS issued document called Rules for Materials and Welding 2022 Amendments, published on the 4th of March.
The changed become effective on 01 July 2022.
