These guidelines were published on 8 May 2024 and will enter into force on 1 July 2024.
The document outlines safety protocols for a variety of surveys carried out in different settings. These surveys encompass:
- Surveys in areas where there's a risk of pressure release accidents.
- Surveys in locations housing operational machinery.
- Surveys in areas prone to electric shock hazards.
- Surveys in environments containing toxic or harmful substances.
- Surveys in locations where there's a risk of being struck by moving or falling objects.
- Surveys in areas susceptible to structural collapse.
- Surveys in locations with radiation exposure.
- Surveys involving pickup by traffic boats.
Moreover, the document addresses surveys conducted in specific contexts such as ships, offshore installations, shipyards, and marine product manufacturing sites.
